Ben & Abby Miller

Ben and Abby Miller have been married since 2011. Together, they strive to answer the call God has given them to preach the gospel, strengthen the church by making disciples, and to love those who either cannot or will not love them back.

Ben grew up in Hampton, Connecticut as a Pastor’s son and moved to Vermont as an adult. It was here that Ben really developed his relationship with the Lord and was instilled with the passion to see the saints be more effective in discipleship and integrity. Ben believes that all effective ministry springs from a deep and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. After almost 8 years serving in several churches in Vermont in a variety of capacities from Youth ministry to Music Ministry, Ben moved back to Connecticut in 2011 to marry Abby. He now serves in his local church as a music minister.

Abby has lived in Northeastern Connecticut her whole life. The daughter of a Pastor and one of five children all schooled at home, Abby has always had a heart for children. At 16 she became the head of the Children’s Ministry at her father’s church, where she still serves today. She is now the Director of Little Lights Christian Learning Center, an outreach Daycare center where children ages 6 weeks to 10 years are being ministered to with the love and message of Jesus Christ. She is a natural servant and prefers working behind the scenes to make other people’s jobs easier rather than being the center of attention.

In 2014 Ben and Abby went to Uganda with Real Ministries. There was an instant knowing that God was knitting them together with this ministry in a special way. After two years of attempting to help in any way possible from gathering sponsors for the annual fundraising banquet to presenting the upcoming mission projects to others, Ben and Abby were formally asked to join the ministry in the Summer of 2016.

They are now serving as Global Mission’s Project Coordinators to help fuel the Lord’s work being done around the globe through REAL Ministries. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, helping to plan and oversee Mission Projects from their inception, to train and develop the teams to serve on the ground during the projects, and to network with ministries and churches around the world to help foster greater involvement and partnership with what God is doing through REAL. Ben and Abby believe in absolute obedience to the Lord and as a result, there is nothing that is theirs that they would hold back from Him. Some have called this radical but the Millers find it to be the most fulfilling way one can live and hope to encourage others to serve God with radical abandon as well. Fully recognising their own failings, shortcomings, and daily need for Grace and Mercy from God, they seek to inspire people to start from wherever they may currently find themselves and begin serving God with all they have knowing that they will never regret giving their lives to Him!

Ben and Abby have each always had a heart for Global Missions and a desire to see unreached people groups become reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They look for ways to both support and be those who go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.
